How long is the installation process compared to other roofing options?
When you install a custom-prefabricated Duro-Last Roofing System, up to 85% of the seams are completed in a factory-controlled environment before the roofing system is delivered to the job site. By eliminating most of the on-site seaming, Duro-Last dramatically reduces the potential for leaks — and adds the advantages of a faster, quieter and easier installation, with less maintenance and reliable roof performance for years to come. The duro-last roofing system is also an approved product for putting over an existing roof, further reducing the time and cost of tearing off an old roof.
Can your roof be installed over an existing roof?
Yes, Duro-Last roofing system can be installed over almost any existing roof including metal. The Duro-Last membrane is a lightweight product that won’t add a lot of weight to an existing roof. It can be fully adhered or mechanically fastened installation, whichever suits the situation best.
Can you add insulation to the roof?
Yes, adding insulation to your roof can greatly add to the value of your building, and save on heating and cooling cost. Most older buildings lack insulation in the ceiling/roof, so adding insulation to a new build or over an existing roof is a good way of building R-value. There are different insulation options for your roof, so feel free to give us a call and we can review the building type and put something together that works best for the building and or your budget.
